We took a trip to Arizona to see family and stopped by the Grand Canyon in the way home. It was a good getaway. It was a little cool, still lots of snow but only a handful of people...nice way to see the National Park























We also stopped by the Glen Canyon Dam and learned how it was built. IT is huge.













Then we stopped at Cove Fort, Utah and learned about it being a stop for travelers heading to St George, UT.

We also learned about the settlers there and how they had to be self sufficient and didn't waste anything. We have it too easy. It was a great trip.
