Santa

We spent Thanksgiving in Powell, Wyoming with family. The day after, Santa comes to town in a helicopter. Not sure what the kids enjoyed more- Santa or the Helicopter.

It was a nice vacation and getaway with family. The kids enjoyed playing with Grandma and Grandpa Swanson and being spoiled.

FIRST SNOW

They said it might snow. How much they didn't say. The kids had a blast. ( I couldn't find any matching gloves, boots are all a little tight...and poor Sam has nothing-luckily he was sleeping during the snow adventure). Jake was proud of his snowman.......regardless of it's size

Happy Birthday Jake

Jake turns 8 tomorrow. IT is amazing that my little 8lbs 6 oz. baby boy is 8. He is such a joy and growing up so fast.

WE celebrated his birthday a few days early since the weather was so nice.. We made air rockets and launched them from a nearby park.. Jake had a lot of fun celebrating with his many friends.

Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween.. We met at a friends house and had some delicious chile and then we all went trick or treating in our neighborhood- we looked like a mob of kids. It was so nice to be able to go without freezing. Jake wanted to be a Mummy this year and Madison was fine with being a cheerleader (I think because she could wear a skirt- the kid hates pants) Sam was a semi pirate.. I couldn't get him to wear anything but the shirt. He was a bit hesitant at first about going to strangers doors. But after about the 3rd piece of candy he caught on and was running to each house. After we filled our bags we went back and had donuts and hot chocolate and the kids watched a movie.

Pony Rides

We went to Wheeler farm this last weekend enjoying the nice weather and fed the ducks and the kids went on pony rides. It was a nice afternoon.

last summer blast

My Aunt and her family have a big family gathering every year and this year they invited us.. It was a lot of fun.. we went to "the BIG house" as they call it.. Just a huge house on your way to farifiew Utah. It was a great place to relax. The kids had fun shooting rockets, taking out the canoe and paddle boats and the all popular 4 wheelers. There were some Jacobs size.. He had a blast!!! Madison did too but she had fun playing with her cousin Sienna- they wer inseparable. And Sam...we he had plenty of house to roam...and he loved the 4 wheelers also. IT was a fun way to end the summer hanging out with family and just playing.

Madison also lost her first tooth!!! Wow she is growing up fast.
